Making FireFox Faster
Here are a few tips that will really make it fly these are the Settings I use and they work in all versions of FireFox, The Settings will pass through even when you upgrade from FireFox 1.5 to FireFox 2.0
In the browser, type about:config
You will see a whole load of options Change the following values as
stated:
network.http.max-connections = 64
network.http.max-connections-per-server= 32
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server= 16
network.http.pipelining = true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 100 or 200 or anything in between
(choose one, I use 160)
network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0
nglayout.initialpaint.delay = 0
If nglayout.initialpaint.delay doesnt exist, Right click, new integer.
Optional:
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy = 10
network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
network.http.proxy.version = 1.0
network.http.connect.timeout = 0
You Must Close mozilla and start it again to see the difference.
Now Mozilla Burns sites like wild.
